The Scarritt Renaissance neighborhood holds much of Kansas
City's early history within its boundaries. Encompassing some of the City's
first Boulevards and abutting one of its first and largest parks, our
neighborhood has much to offer its residents and visitors. Wide, tree-lined
sidewalks provide the perfect means to enjoy our neighborhood's historic
residential architecture. A wide variety of styles, including Queen Anne,
Chateauesque, Shingle Style, Mission Style and Beaux Arts, are represented
in the majestic homes along our Avenues and Boulevards. Homeowners take
a pride in ownership here. Many of the houses in this neighborhood have
been, or are in the process of being, totally restored. Many others have
never needed restoration. It is truly a great neighborhood to visit, and
an even better place to live! |
