The design and construction, by Dick Jobe and Beth Nybeck, is part of Northeast Community Leadership Action Team’s (NCLAT) “Less <Trash> is More <Art>” community beautification project. The sculpture promotes Northeast’s connection to the arts community, promotes healthy methods of sustainable transportation, and promotes historic Cliff Drive. The team is currently raising funds to install more artistic bike racks in the Northeast, other winning designs will be on display during the unveiling. This first installation was funded by the generosity of State Street. For more information contact Malenda Shahane, 816-547-7513 or Rebecca Koop, 816-483-6964. | ||||||||
